This Annual Celebration is held to share the accomplishments, hardships, and strides The Center has made towards enhancing existing programs and adding new programs to help more community members. Through the support MHCGM receives, each of the 34 programs and services provided to the Greater Manchester community (and Rapid Response Statewide) become more accessible to those who need it.
MHCGM is working towards a community that is wholly connected through communication and care, which is where you- the community members, donors, sponsors, and all of who support the mission of MHCGM- are crucial.
Please help to reflect on the past year, to celebrate every difference maker, and to focus in on the next steps to make mental health services more accessible for everyone at Murphy's Taproom & Carriage House on Monday, October 26th. Beginning with a networking hour at 5pm, the program will start at 6 and conclude at about 8pm. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar is available. An auction will run in tandem with the evening that includes some fantastic items!

MHCGM is proud to have Tom Sullivan Jr. as the 2026 Annual Celebration Speaker!
Tom Sullivan Jr. is the President of Sullivan Construction, a commercial construction manager/general contractor serving New Hampshire, Northern Massachusetts and Southern Maine. He is on the Board of Directors at Meals on Wheels of Hillsborough County, The Mary and John Elliot Foundation Board, Associated Builders and Contractors of NH / VT, Business and Industry Association, and the CEO & Family Enterprise Center Advisory Board. Tom resides in Bedford with his wife, Kelly, newborn son Trip (Tom III), and their dog, Sadie.
Tom is this year’s speaker, sharing his lived experience through his mental health journey. In his early 20’s, he was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and has dealt with other mental health conditions throughout his life. He wanted to speak about his journey, the ups and downs over the years, and how he has learned to manage his symptoms, creating a life that is now unimpacted by any mental health limitations.
In spite of mental health challenges, Tom still managed to start a family, rise to the top position at his family’s company, partner with his wife Kelly to start a second business, Kelly’s Cleaners in Somerville, MA, complete Leadership Manchester in 2024, and be listed among the Union Leader’s Class of 2025 40 under 40 recipients. Tom is a graduate of Santa Clara University with a BA in World Literatures and has an MBA from Babson College. His message to the community is that any mental health struggle can be overcome with the right treatment, support, and attitude, and that his positive outcome should serve as an inspiration to others.
The Community Leadership Award was established by our Board of Directors to recognize and honor businesses or community leaders who exemplify the leadership and commitment needed to build and suppport a caring and healthy community. Honorees are selected for their involvement in business, civic, philanthropic, artistic, or cultural activities that enhance the quality of life and wellness of our citizens.
